Project
The UH Foundation wanted their logo to inspire giving and partnership with the University of Hawai‘i by fostering UH pride and passion among donors, alumni and the community. After exploring various symbols of Hawaiian culture, I chose to focus on the Hawaiian canoe and crab claw sail. This vessel not only served as a primary mode of transportation, but is a carrier of tradition and cultural values, which fits perfectly with the campaign, Journey Beyond.
