Project
Every year the SFO Airport Director sends a holiday greeting to the entire airport commission staff, and this year he wanted to take a less traditional approach by creating a more interactive experience. After partnering with the marketing department, we decided a paper airplane card would be a fun, unique, and appropriately themed way for the director to send well wishes for 2019.
I designed the “card” in two pieces. The first was a 4” x 6” insert with a holiday message on the front and step-by-step folding instructions on the back. The second piece was a double sided 8.5” x 11” paper airplane template with fold lines. I produced each set in three different color ways utilizing accent colors from SFO’s branding guidelines. Lastly, I designed an adhesive label to be applied to the envelope exterior to create one cohesive package.
